Product Description

Equi-Tee's quick stud electrifies your white PVC fence by holding a scare wire away from your expensive vinyl rails. Hot wire mount holds electric wire or polyrope up to 5/16 diameter. Packed 30 or 100 per bag.  Snap to post use GL-1 glue to secure.

For just pennies per post our insulators are an economical and practical way to protect your expensive white fence. Installing a scare wire will greatly diminish the types of damage that many fence warranties DO NOT cover. Our patented insulator attaches to the inside of your posts without screws or nails, just snap the stud into a small hole and secure it with glue. The hot wire can be positioned as needed, a point midway up is preferred. A higher location on both sides may be needed for adjpoining pastures to keep them from horseplay over the fence.

Tired of replacing PVC rails that have been damaged by your horses? The answer to this problem is solved in a snap!

White PVC fence is one of the most attractive and expensive fences you can install. The benefits of polyvinyl rails are numerous and its flexibility is one of the keys to its safety. Unfortunately this advantage can lead to ongoing and expensive maintenance when horses rub against it, put their heads through the rails or do all the other things that horses naturally do. It won't take them long to realize that they can bend the fence to nibble at the grass on the other side, or in the case of larger horses, simply push until the rails pop out of the posts.

The quick stud is especially designed for polyrope (sold seperately) that has six stainless steel wires braided into the strands of 1/4" rope.  Polyrope is much safer than a solid electric wire, if your horse should strike and get a leg caught, this stud designed to break away from the post before injury to your horse can occur. Works well with chargers up to one joule.

Video shows how white PVC board fencing can be protected from damage by adding an electric hot wire. The Equi-Tee hot wire stud securely glues to the post face and holds the wire away from the fence boards. Unlike feeding wire through a post, wire studs are designed to break away before horse injury can occur. Visit www.fencingsolutions.com for more information

  1. Only thing I could find for PVC fences

Posted by Stacy Hines on 15th Feb 2012

These little parts seemed expensive to me compared to what the t-post ones cost. However they were the only thing I could find to put up a hotwire. They went up really well and my 3 rail PVC horse fence still looked great. My neighbors asked me where I bought them and they thought the price was reasonable, so in the end I think they are worth it. I would give them 4.5 stars but this doesn't have that so I'm giving them 5 stars.

  2. A satisfied customer

Posted by Shannon on 6th Feb 2012

Recently my horse spooked and ran through my vinyl fence. I was amazed when that all the quickstuds popped offf, just like they were supposed to. The polyrope became loose and didn't tangle or injure her legs. We put the fence back up and reinstalled the rope, all within an hour. No lasting damage to the horse or fence. Thank you!
